Desjardins announces a $100,000 donation to the Canadian Red Cross to support individuals affected by the tragedy in Tumbler Ridge, BC

MONTREAL, Feb. 13, 2026 /CNW/ - Desjardins Group has teamed up with the Canadian Red Cross, donating $100,000 to the Tumbler Ridge Tragedy Appeal. 

"We're deeply affected by the tragedy at Tumbler Ridge. During these very trying moments, we want to offer our full support to the community and the individuals affected. Our thoughts are with the families, their loved ones and everyone who's going through this extremely difficult time," said Denis Dubois, President and CEO of Desjardins Group.  

Like at government offices, Desjardins Group's flags have been lowered and will remain at half-mast until February 17, to honour the victims in Tumbler Ridge.

Donations to the Canadian Red Cross will help support individuals affected by this devastating event. Money raised will be used to help meet immediate needs and address the impacts on individuals, families and communities.
