Visit will focus on strengthening community sport from playground to podium

KITCHENER, ON, May 11, 2026 /CNW/ - On Tuesday, the Honourable Adam van Koeverden, Secretary of State (Sport), will be in Kitchener–Waterloo to highlight the Government of Canada's generational sport investments announced in the Spring Economic Update 2026. He will be accompanied by Tim Louis, Member of Parliament (Kitchener–Conestoga).

The visit will focus on strengthening community sport opportunities from playground to podium, while supporting safer, stronger and more connected communities through sport.
